These terms apply when you buy from iqsigns.co.uk. IQSigns is a trading name of Ultimate Image Ltd, company no. 12602498, VAT no. 400880133.
Your order
- Prices include VAT. Delivery is shown at checkout.
- Your order is accepted when we email you a confirmation. We may decline an order — for example if a design breaks the rules below, or if we cannot make a heritage plate honestly from the sources provided — and will refund you in full if so.
- Because every sign is made to order, you cannot cancel once we have started printing. Personalised signs cannot be returned for change of mind; see Delivery & Returns for what happens if something is wrong.
Your design and your content
- You must own the rights to any artwork, photograph or text you upload, or have permission to use it. You keep those rights; you give us permission to use the material to make and support your sign.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may decline or cancel an order that does.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what appears on your sign, including names, numbers, dates and spelling. Check your proof carefully — we print what you approve.
Heritage plates
- The film we produce is built from the documentary sources you supply. We ground what it says in those sources and do not invent detail. Where the record is silent, the film is silent.
- You confirm you are entitled to use the sources and photographs you give us, and that you are content for the material to be published on a page reachable from a sign in a public place.
- You approve the film and the plate wording before anything is printed. Once approved and printed, corrections mean a new plate at the usual price.
Where your sign points
- Every sign carries a link we host. You choose and can change the destination at any time from your dashboard.
- The first year of hosting is included. After that a small annual fee keeps the link live, the analytics running and the destination editable. We will tell you before it is due.
- If hosting lapses, the sign remains yours and the physical sign is unaffected, but the link may stop resolving to your chosen destination until it is renewed.
- You are responsible for the content at the destination you choose. Do not point a sign at anything unlawful.
- We may need to change the underlying technical address of a link — for example if we move platforms. We will keep your sign working; that is the point of a link that can be repointed.
If something goes wrong
- If a sign arrives damaged, faulty, or not what you approved, tell us within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you.
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
